Monica Torasso vive e lavora a Torino. Si laurea in Architettura e lì riscopre la sua grande passione per il disegno e le arti figurative. Esce il suo primo libro illustrato nel 2013, "Il paese di Darvindunque" dell'autore Massimo Ottolenghi, edito da Arabafenice. Incomincia a collaborare con studi grafici (Contrylab, the T concept, Peruzzo) e nel 2014 vince il concorso di tesseramento ARCI 2015 con il trapezista "volante" e il motto "liberi di volare". Il suo lavoro spazia da caricature e ritratti su commissione e per eventi, a progetti di loghi e grafiche coordinate a illustrazioni per l'editoria.

Monica Torasso lives and works in Turin, Italy. She graduated in architecture where she rediscovers her passion for design and the visual arts. She released her first illustrated book in 2013, "Il paese di Darvindunque" from author Massimo Ottolenghi, published by Arabafenice. She begins to work with graphic design studios (Contrylab, the T concept, Peruzzo) and in 2014 she won the 2015 national competition for ARCI association with the trapeze artist "flying" and the motto "free to fly". Her work ranges from commisioned portraits and caricatures, live performances, logos and graphics projects to illustrations for publishing.
